About us
Grace Life Church
While our pastor’s family was at The Master’s Seminary, the thought of planting a new church in Vizag was sowed in their hearts. Although, initially they had planned to return to Middle East where they had been earlier, the Lord providentially led them to this great city. They were able to see the need for a discipleship focused and Christ honoring church in the city. Among the other needs in view were:
-
The need for a church which is focussed on the expository preaching and teaching the whole purpose of God. All books, all chapters, all verses and all words in the Bible must be preached and must be made available to the body of Christ (Acts 20: 27; Psalm 1, 19, 119)
-
The need for the true preaching of the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 12:3-4)
-
The need for more faithful and true Gospel ministry (Gal.1:8-9; Rom 1:16-17)
-
The need for a church which is led by a group of godly elders (1 Tim 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; Acts 11:30; 14:23; 15:2; 20:17-35; 21:18; Phil 1:2; 1 These 5:12; 1 Pet 5:1-2; James 5:14; Hebrews 13:17)
-
The need for a genuine, Christ-exalting church (2 Tim. 4:3-4)
-
The need for discipleship focussed ministry (Matt 28:17-20)
-
The need to provide a solid biblical answers to the believers, skeptics and truth seekers with gentleness (1 Pet 3:15)
-
The need to build Christ-honoring families and equip the children in God’s word (Eph 5:22-6:4)
-
The need to equip pastors and bible translators with biblical languages Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek
-
The need to train faithful pastors and plant more Christ honouring churches in India
Our pastor’s family embraced this mammoth task with much prayer and guidance from godly people. They returned in India in January 2017. The Lord, in his sovereign plan, brought few like minded families together and helped them to plant Grace Life Church on 12th March, 2017 in Vizag. This beautiful city is nestled among the hills.
Now, the church has taken up, willingly and enthusiastically, the great vision for this church:
"We exist to glorify God through loving the Lord Jesus Christ passionately, obeying all that He commanded joyfully, and making disciples effectively for the kingdom of God.”
We are committed to the five solas of the reformation:
-
Sola Scriptura (“Scripture alone”): The Bible alone is our highest authority.
-
Sola Fide (“faith alone”): We are saved through faith alone in Jesus Christ.
-
Sola Gratia (“grace alone”): We are saved by the grace of God alone.
-
Solus Christus (“Christ alone”): Jesus Christ alone is our Lord, Savior, and King.
-
Soli Deo Gloria (“to the glory of God alone”): We live for the glory of God alone.
All glory and praise be to our triune God.
